Mostly Waltz is a new series of Dances in Toronto featuring excellent live bands and great DJ'd music for waltzes and other partner dances!  The first Mostly Waltz on May 3 was fun and had a very good vibe - here is a 90 second video from that Dance taken by Tony Hornick: http://youtube.com/watch?v=axGm_kKD_68

Friday June 6, 7:30pm to 10:30pm, St. Barnabas church hall, 361 Danforth Avenue, Toronto

bulletFeatures the Stephen Fuller Duet, an excellent small band for waltzes and other dance music!
bulletDoors and DJ'd music 7:30pm, Band 8pm
bulletSt. Barnabas Church is at 361 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. We are in the church's large hall entered from the west side of the church on Hampton Avenue. St. Barnabas is a one minute walk from the Chester subway stop, and two or three blocks east of Broadview.
bulletBig sprung wood dance floor - one of the best in Toronto. Charming high ceilinged hall with good acoustics.
bulletFriendly and fun atmosphere. Improvisation encouraged.
bulletSingles welcome, couples welcome.
bulletAdmission $10, full-time students $7

Saturday July 26, later afternoon, Dovercourt House, Toronto, part of the Notorious Dance Weekend!

bulletA Buffet Dinner follows Mostly Waltz, and after that in the evening is an English Dance also featuring Notorious! 
bulletDovercourt House, 805 Dovercourt Road, Toronto. Close to subway and parking, directions at the Dovercourt H. button to your left. All of the Saturday July 26 part of the weekend is at Dovercourt House.
bulletOn Sunday July 27 the Notorious Weekend continues with a Contra Dance on Toronto Island - the Island Contra featuring Notorious!  Details for the Sunday and also for the Friday Night Concert are at torontocountrydancers.com
